The Long Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership (LIMEP) at Stony Brook University is one of the ten regional MEP centers in New York State, with FuzeHub as the state-wide MEP center. LIMEP is the Long Island manufacturing assistance center, funded by the Federal NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), and is part of NY Empire State Development.

Equipping Manufacturers to Achieve More
LIMEP is able to assist all types of manufacturers, including the DoD and food & beverage sectors, along with our center’s focus in the biotechnology sector. We serve approximately 3,000 small- and medium-sized manufacturers on Long Island in Nassau and Suffolk counties. LIMEP supports the strength, competitiveness, and organizational health of Long Island’s manufacturers by offering growth and innovation services. To help them create and retain jobs, increase profits, save time and money, and continue developing, LIMEP provides various resources, such as company assessments, on-site technical assistance, coaching, training, consulting, and collaboration-focused industry programs. LIMEP also utilizes its government, university, and economic development partnerships to further aid manufacturers with their varied needs. Additionally, our experienced engineers, consultants, and business professionals bring expansive skillsets in manufacturing, management, process improvements, and technology acceleration that can be tapped into for customized solutions, including hands-on facilitation and implementation.

NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) MEP Program
The MEP program is a part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a U.S. Department of Commerce agency. This program has created a nationwide network of MEP centers that works with manufacturers and contributes to the growth of well-paying jobs, dynamic manufacturing communities, American innovation, and global competitiveness.

Part of Empire State Development, the New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) is a network of organizations that provide growth and innovation services to small- and mid-sized manufacturers in every corner of the state to help them create and retain jobs, increase profits, and save time and money.

FuzeHub
FuzeHub is a nonprofit organization that serves as the statewide New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) center, supported by Empire State Development’s Division of Science, Technology & Innovation. TDO (Technology Development Organization)
Located in Syracuse, New York, TDO is a not-for-profit consulting and training organization. Located in Rochester, New York, NextCorps is a non-profit whose mission is to be a catalyst for entrepreneurship and innovation-based economic development. NextCorps does this by applying business expertise and network connections to aid in the formation and profitable growth of companies in the Rochester area and the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.
MTEC (Manufacturing & Technology Enterprise Center)
Located at Highland, New York, MTEC brings a network of experienced engineers, scientists, programmers, and business and manufacturing professionals to your team, helping you develop your product or application strategy and concepts, design product prototypes, and facilitate and optimize your manufacturing value chain. AIM (Advanced Institute for Manufacturing)
Located in Utica, New York, AIM has a mission to provide small- and medium-sized manufacturers in the Mohawk Valley Region with training, consulting, and technology services that will lead to new product development, cost reductions, increased efficiency, and greater profits. AIM supports the region's priority industry cluster: cybersecurity.
ITAC (Industrial & Technology Assistance Corporation
Located in New York City, ITAC works with small- and mid-size manufacturers throughout the five boroughs and helps them expand into new markets, create innovative products, develop their customer base, find new partners, improve their processes, and develop sustainable practices. ITAC supports New York City's priority industry cluster: smart cities.
