The Advanced Energy Center (AERTC) is a New York State Center of Excellence at Stony
Brook University's Research and Development Park.
We accelerate the energy transition by validating new technologies, advancing commercialization,
and preparing students and professionals to succeed in the advanced energy economy.
AERTC has partnered with 14 New York State Centers of Excellence (COEs), 14 New York
State Centers of Advanced Technologies (CATs), 13 universities/colleges, and over
100 industrial and federal laboratories.
