Goerge Osei
Department of History

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of History. My research examines the evolution of witchcraft accusations and humanitarian interventions in Ghana. Focusing on the origins and transformation of Ghana’s witch camps–communities that shelter individuals accused of witchcraft–I explore how both local and international actors have shaped the lives of accused persons, often women, over nearly a century.
