My name is Jennifer Tepan, and I am a third-year PhD student in the Integrative Neuroscience program at Stony Brook University. My main research interests are learning and memory in neurodegenerative disorders. Specifically, I am investigating dopamine's role in visual-spatial working memory precision in Parkinson’s Disease participants using eye tracking and fMRI. I chose to be a part of AGEP because of the mentorship component that will allow me to expand my network and build community. Further, I am passionate about mentoring undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and look forward to developing the skills necessary to mentor them effectively.
