SBU Creative Writing and Film Students Win the Chancellor Award and More

Congratulations to Madelyn Stepski (BFA in Creative Writing) and Caden Deshommes (BA concentration in filmmaking) on winning the Chancellor Award in 2026. 

Third-year MFA film student Margarita Mina has been named a recipient of the National Board of Review Student Grant 2025 for her very personal short film Baby Fat.
