9/11 Memorial Project

For the 25th anniversary of September 11th, the 9/11 Committee at Stony Brook University will commemorate New Yorkers who lost their lives in the attacks. The committee invites Stony Brook community members to embark on a self-guided walking tour of several memorial sites located on the west campus accomponied by a digital StoryMap.

Congratulations to Professor Shobana Shankar, who was recently elected to the Board of the Association for the Study of the Worldwide African Diaspora, the premier international scholarly organization for researchers, educators, practitioners, and those seeking further understanding of Africa and the African diaspora.
