Doreen Swift is a highly experienced and accomplished engineer with a proven track record of success in designing and developing electronics and electrical systems with over 30 years of experience. She is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of her work's technical aspects and the skills and expertise necessary to manage and develop high-performing teams.

As Senior Director of Embedded Software Engineering, Doreen is responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing and developing embedded software systems. She is passionate about her work and highly committed to the client and project execution. Doreen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from NYU/Polytechnic University. She was an Adjunct Professor and a Post-Graduate as well.

Doreen has been with IPS for nearly 14 years. Doreen's career path has included roles as an individual contributor and technical manager. As a lead electrical engineer, Doreen has worked on digital and analog circuits, portable power design, power supply and battery management systems design, wireless technology, and motor/sensing circuitry, culminating in schematic capture and PCB designs. She has shepherded projects through the regulatory processes. As a manager, Doreen has directed and managed cross-functional teams through all aspects of project development, from architecture to production phases.
