Dwayne Raye

Associate Director of Public Safety

Dwayne Raye graduated from St. Joseph's College with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Computer Information Systems and has worked at Stony Brook University Hospital for more than 15 years boasting a long-standing history within the healthcare enviornment. With a vast array of disciplines, he primarily focuses on situational security awareness and human interaction.

He has served in various roles and departments throughout the hospital. After a break to pursue executive-level experience in the private sector as the Director of Technology in an academic setting, returned as a supervisor for patient transport and then transitioned into the security operations coordinator within the department of public safety.

As the chief point of contact for all hospital access, Raye is a sitting member of the UH policy, JACHO, and Cyber Security committees.
