Instructor
David Noble, PhD
David specializes in interpreting patterns across industries, connecting disparate data points, and anticipating where markets and talent are moving. This forward-looking perspective has defined his career, from reshaping higher education and sports at UConn to designing entirely new pathways for commercialization and entrepreneurship.
David’s value lies in his vision: he identifies emerging opportunities while they’re still invisible to most and anticipates which risks are worth pursuing. His futurist lens allows him to synthesize complexity and point to the direction of travel long before the rest of the market catches on.
As the Founding Executive Director of the Peter J. Werth Institute at the University of Connecticut, David redefined entrepreneurial ecosystems by forging connections across academia, industry, and philanthropy. He is the architect of the Network-Based Innovation Model, a framework designed to unlock value through underutilized social and institutional networks. With unparalleled expertise in mobilizing people, ideas, and capital, David has stewarded over $50M in transformative investments and built a reputation for designing systems that scale.
David holds a PhD in Management from the University of Alabama, an MBA from Elon University, a JD from the University of Miami, and a BS in Political Science from Northeastern University.
