Webinar: Investing in Cybersecurity through Preparedness Grants, May 29 2019
On April 12, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the release of Fiscal
Year (FY) 2019 Notices of Funding Opportunity for eight DHS Preparedness Grant programs
totaling more than $1.7 billion. The grant programs provide funding to state, local,
tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments, as well as transportation authorities,
nonprofit organizations, and the private sector, to improve the Nation’s readiness
in preventing, protecting against, responding to, recovering from, and mitigating
terrorist attacks, major disasters, and other emergencies. Preparedness Grant recipients
can use them in part to implement activities related to cybersecurity.
Join CISA for a May 29 webinar on this topic, co-hosted by Regional Consortium Coordinating
Council (RC3) and the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Government Coordinating
Council (SLTTGCC). Experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the

CyberSecurity Workshop Training, May 15 2019
The primary purpose of our one-day 8-hour workshop is to ensure that small businesses
are aware of the cybersecurity requirements mandated under Defense Federal Acquisition
Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Subpart 204.73. We will focus on understanding the
risks associated with safeguarding controlled unclassified DoD information.
The workshops will focus on the groups of controls from NIST 800-171, with examples
