- United States Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Acceptance into a doctoral program in the biological / biomedical sciences at Stony Brook University
- Commitment to pursuing a post-graduate career in the biomedical sciences
IMSD-MERGE aims to increase participation of biological and biomedical science doctoral trainees completing highly productive degrees. Applicants will be invited to share information about the journey they have traveled to reach this point in their academic career, and/or challenges they may have overcome in order to pursue higher education.
