Advanced Energy Research & Technology Center
The Advanced Energy Research & Technology Center (AERTC) is a true partnership of academic institutions, research institutions, energy
providers and industrial corporations. Its mission is innovative energy research,
education and technology deployment with a focus on efficiency, conservation, renewable
energy and nanotechnology applications for new and novel sources of energy.
Sustainability Studies Program
Stony Brook University is a national leader in sustainability education and has developed a group of majors that prepares students for a career in developing
sustainable solutions to the problems our planet faces. The multidisciplinary majors
and minors train our students to think critically and analyze data in a systems approach.
