Global Student Ambassador
Meet a Global Student Ambassador!
All students participating in GSI programs have the opportunity to meet and interact with a GSA (Global Student Ambassador) during their stay at Stony Brook University. GSA's are Stony Brook students who are excited to meet people from other countries and help them adjust to living on campus, practice their English, and introduce them to American culture.
If you choose to participate, you will meet your GSA and make a plan on how you want to spend your time together (meet for lunch/dinner, grab coffee at Starbuck's, go to the Recreation Center, shopping at the mall, etc). GSAs will also attend some of the field trips and social events planned throughout the summer.
It's a great way to make new friends!
