The Research and Development Park at Stony Brook University covers 246 acres and is anchored by the New York State Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) and the Advanced Energy Research and Development Center (AERTC). An extension of Stony Brook University's world-renowned research arm, the Centers provide connection to world-class students, faculty, and researchers, integrate industry and campus technologies, and support and house member technology incubator and START-UP NY designated companies.
