Presidential Mini Grant

The Department of Africana Studies is pleased to announce that Dr. Tracey L. Walters, Chair, has been awarded a Stony Brook University Presidential mini grant to fund the following project:

Recognizing Diversity:  The LBGTQ Experience in Communities of Color

The grant, in the amount of $8,500 will support three speakers, the first speaker is scheduled for November.
