Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (New York)

If you have never registered to vote before in New York, or if you need to update your voter information in New York:

• • Register to Vote BY MAIL - Received by local board of elections no later than October 25, 2025
  • Register to Vote IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than October 25, 2025
  • Change of Address - Received by local board of elections no later than October 25, 2025

If you have registered to vote in New York and want to participate in early mail ballot or absentee voting:

• • Request Absentee Ballot BY MAIL, FAX OR  ONLINE PORTAL- Received by local board of elections no later than October 25, 2025
  • Request Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than November 4, 2025
  • Submit Absentee Ballot BY MAIL - Postmarked to local board of elections no later than November 4, 2025
    • Received by local board of elections no later than November 12, 2025
  • Submit Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than November 4, 2025

Early Voting for the 2025 General Election in New York will be from October 25, 2025 to November 2, 2025.
